Chessie – Remembering Your Sweet Cock-a-Poo

Hi Monica,

It’s Tuesday, Oct 7, and I’m posting this to the page so that you can see the final portrait. I went with a blue theme, and added a bit of those tones into the green chair. I think Chessie’s tag and collar, background, and chair all blend nicely together! And those same blue colors compliment the tones in her fur quite well. Hope you like this – I will have it ready for you by Friday evening – just call me when you get home and I’ll bring it over. I’ll go to Plaza Arts and pick out a frame – I’m thinking either a natural wood, or maybe a black frame will look best.

I know that you, Steve, and the girls will love having this portrait of your sweet Chessie to look at every day. The ones I have of our Rocky and Cherish are such a delight to see when we walk in the door – remembering their sweet yappiness, always ecstatic when we walked through the door… we loved their “happy barks” that greeted us when we came home, and our pack-time in the bed at night and on the weekends.

I’ve given you several different options for the background – I also have two different version of “Chessie” – one with more vivid, vibrant colors, and one with slightly more subdued colors. I can use any of the backgrounds with either version of Chessie. I also did a “headshot” – as though she were popping her little head into the frame to ask “What’s up??” – I thought you might like a slightly different option since you’re having more than one portrait printed.

I hope these make you smile, and keep Chessie in your hearts and minds… I had such fun making her come to life – enjoy!!
