MAC says that I get to write this week’s post for her 52 Project ’cause it’s ALL ABOUT ME… and how I spend my day.
So first… I have to wait for MAC and Tom to wake up in the mornings. I’m very respectful and try not to make TOO much noise. I always have my tennis ball close at hand – it’s my version of a teddy bear – that’s what MAC says.
Sometimes, I’ll hop down off the bed and go check out my toy stash to find one of my noisy squeaky toys if I think it’s past time for Tom and MAC to wake up.
Wait… you didn’t think I slept on the floor, did you? It’s MUCH more comfortable on the pack bed with MAC and Tom, so being the Queen of Comfort, that’s where I sleep at night!
Then when it’s time to go outside to tend to my business – well.. it’s winter here in Northern Virginia, with cold temps and snowy, icy streets and sidewalks, so I have to wear my winter coat – don’t you think I’m quite the stylish poodle-girl?
See – it even has my name stitched on it in big gold letters! Tom just LOVES taking me on walks down the street – he thinks that he looks kinda sissy with me walking next to him in my leopard print coat. But I think I look bee-you-ti-ful!
So after chowing down on breakfast – I take a few moments to crunch down on my favorite new bone – yum!And today – I got to play with my besties Mo and Bailey who live down the street. The sun FINALLY came out, so we were able to run and play for a bit with MAC pointing that big black eye at us and making lots of noise! After dinner, and after MAC and Tom have stopped sitting in front of those big boxes looking at pictures, we all get to go into the other pack room and watch a big screen together, with me sitting next to Tom or MAC. Here I am watching one of my favorite TV shows… waiting to see Bear, my favorite dog TV star on “Person of Interest”. He’s so handsome and brave! MAC says he’s a Belgian Malinois and we probably have common ancestors since Germany is close to Belgium. You DID know that Poodles were originally from Germany, right? that our original name was “pudelhund“… ah well.. no matter – you’ll learn more about me in the weeks to come!
So that’s pretty much it…my typical day wrapped up in a nutshell!
Let’s go see what Jennifer’s furry critters are up to in Poughkeepsie, NY – at Khanya Photography. Keep on clicking around the webring – you’ll see pups and kitties from all around the WORLD – we even have Beautiful Beasties down under – our Aussie and New Zealand buds!
