52 Project – Week 42 – “Friends”

Loved this week’s theme, and was anxious for the opportunity to take my shot. With all of the rains this week, finally… on Thursday afternoon, just in the nick of time before I needed to post my weekly photo, the sun appeared – so Miss Sydney and I gathered up my camera gear and went down to visit her bestie, Mo-Man. I love the way Mo’s hair flies in all directions when he’s in hot pursuit of his girlfriend, Syd – who can now outrun him with her long poodle legs! The leaves are just starting to turn here in Northern Virginia, and they helped to create a stunning backdrop for this dashing dog duo playing in the late afternoon sun.

52 Project - Friends

Next up in the Beautiful Beasties’ webring is Mandy Elliott of M.J. Photography in Kingsport, Tennessee – don’t miss out on any of the images from this week’s challenge.

Beautiful Beasties is a network with forums, blogs and chats for professional pet photographers, where we can get advice, share images and support each other. This post is part of the 52 Project Challenge. Each week, a new theme is chosen by a forum member – the requirement is that whatever we post must be shot that week – no fair using archived photos! It’s a great way to hone our photography skills and flex our creativity muscles. Our posts are linked together in a “web blog ring”. We use blog comments or the forum to leave feedback. Seeing what our fellow pet photographers have captured over the past week on Friday mornings is like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re gonna get! (apologies to Forrest…)

Aww, how cute! Love his expression as he’s taking off after his “girlfriend”. We have had a lot of rain here in East TN too. Its been nonstop. Here’s to hoping for some sunshine this weekend!ReplyCancel

Love the action shots! Such nice work!
Also thanks for sharing this fence idea! It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for for our yard. We need to fence in the pups but I wanted something that looked more rustic. Perfect!ReplyCancel
